BlackBerry Bold 9900, Torch 9810 & 9860 Diluncurkan di Indonesia Akhir September

Masyarakat Indonesia dalam waktu dekat akan dapat merasakan sensasi mencoba ponsel BlackBerrry dengan OS terbarunya, yakni OS BlackBerry 7. Rencananya, RIM akan meluncurkan tiga ponsel sekaligus pada Akhir September mendatang, yakni BlackBerry Bold 9900, BlackBerry Torch 9810, dan Torch 9860.

“Sebagai seri terbaru BlackBerry 7, ketiga smartphone ini menawarkan performa browsing yang lebih cepat,” kata Wakil Presiden RIM wilayah Asia Tenggara, Hastings Singh, seperti dikutip Tempo Interaktif dalam acara peluncuran di sebuah pusat perbelanjaan di Jakarta.

Product Manager RIM Indonesia Ardo Fadhola, BlackBerry Bold adalah produk ponsel dari RIM dengan ukuran yang sangat tipis, hanya 10.5 mm. Selain itu, dengan sistem operasi BlackBerry 7 yang menjamin pengalaman berinternet super cepat. OS Blackberry 7 memeiliki kecepatan 40 persen lebih cepat dibanding generasi sebelumnya.

Selain itu, ketiga ponsel ini juga dilengkapi teknologi NFC yang dapat digunakan untuk berbagai keperluan. Misalnya dapat digunakan untuk bertukar pin BB, bluetooth, serta untuk pembayaran kartu elektronik pembayaran toll, e-toll misalnya.

Harga BB Bold 9900 akan dipatok seharga 5.999 juta rupiah. Sementara untuk kedua BB Torch lainnya, pihak RIM Indonesia masih belum mengungkapkan harganya.
